Creation of a digital platform for sharing managerial experience : Leaders’Lab, specially designed for Hutchinson managers

Context

The 1.500 managers in the Group had no tool allowing them to share their managerial experience, foster the mastery of managerial soft skills and give access to a catalogue of experts to help them do their job. The aim of this assignment was to provide such a tool.

Objective

Creating a digital platform for the managers, available all over the world 24/7. This Leaders’Lab platform would become a real digital platform dedicated to the managers, available all over the world 24/7, a real “safety valve” for them to let off steam, with the objective of simplifying and democratising each Managers role, from the CEO to the team leader.

Mission accomplished

Global Kick-off Leaders’Lab of the platform (planned for the 2nd quarter 2020).
The slogan: “Managers : co-owners” of LEADERS’LAB

Method

  1. Convincing the CEO of the desirability of this managerial platform.
  2. Designing the Road Map, presentation to the Group at the Operation Committee meeting and to the CEO
  3. Choice of an experienced digital communication agency
  4. Creation of a Steering Committee to test the POC then the LEADERS’LAB platform, and involve the different managerial communities in the project

The LEADERS’LAB platform would allow the Group’s 1.500 worldwide managers to share their managerial experience, their high points and their problems, to foster the mastery of managerial soft skills in order to build sustainability and attractivity for their unit, and to have access to a catalogue of experts to help them enjoy managing their team and succeed as a manager.
